So anyone know where Alex Song has been these last few years and whether he is worth inviting for training? He was struggling when last with us but we are in desperate times. Any other free agent midfielders worth bringing in? Mind you it will cost money whoever it was so probably a non-starter :-(

Re: The transfer window thread
Sadly, yes. This article and Sunday Supplement seem to think an agent may have leaked it. But other theories are Sullivan to distract from his own twattish antics.

Kenedy, he should be with us not fucking Newcastle.

Cunt scouts, owners and all.

I think the article suggests it was an unhappy agent that leaked this or did I misunderstand It.

The owners leaking racist comments from their own head of recruitment to the press is really scraping the barrel of conspiracy theories.

Re: The transfer window thread
Interesting read, decent enough theory and still the suggestion runs of a leak FROM the club.
Timing not mentioned as convenient but if it was leaked from within, surely irritation at a transfer not going ahead and embarrassing the board when the funds were available from Ayew - unless you believe the cash crisis rumours - might suggest Sullivan digging him out to cover his own butt again.

I think he was honest. Refreshing these days.

He has been here half a season and the club feels like a "girlfriend" at this point. Fair enough.

But if we take his comments at face value it's not like he doesn't care.

"[He] is more focused on addressing the fears of worried Hammers fans.

“Obviously, they are concerned,” he said. “But what I see in the dressing room, what I feel, is that we want to be better. We all try to work very hard. We all want more points, more good results, to be higher in the table.

“We want to make the fans happier and we are trying. We are working hard and the season is not over yet.”"

No problem mate. I thought I needed to put the record straight!
I've always rated Adrian as a good goalie & think we'd struggle to improve on him
He did have a bit of a sticky patch last season when he was replaced by Randolph, who did ok for a few games, but Adrian should have been put right back in immediately Randolphs form stalled
Nearly all goalies go through a sticky patch (apart from the really great ones like Gordon Banks & Dino Zoff)

Re: The transfer window thread
Reading an article on Hernandez's admission that he did want away before deadline day - no surprise. What I don't like, though, is when he refers to the club as 'them'..."I will help them as much as I can." - as opposed to "us". This type of language shows he is a journeyman, transient and detached. Ok, fine - bag a few goals for us in the run-in and take a hike.

-------------------------------------

I was bigging up Adrian you prick Eerie. I preferred him to Hart.

I just made a mistake and typed Hart instead of Adrian below. KD pointed out that I had preferred Adrian last August too. Much as I said before you tried to get all excited trying to get one up and failing as you normally do.

Yes I'm sure Joe Hart will suddenly come good and Chicharito will be able to play the lone striker too...

Ha ha ha!

Batshûayi and Schurrle both on the score sheet tonight.

Oh what could have been.

KD 4:44 ~

I'm extremely surprised to find that you have put me in the pro-Hart camp back in August

I always thought he was a pointless signing & never rated Hart very highly

I will say that I seem to recall that he had one very good pre-season or early season game where I thought I might have been proven wrong

I also said that Bilic should have reinstalled Adrian much sooner when Randolph was conceding goals for fun

Sorry, but I don't think I've directed a post at you in quite some time, so that's just infantile made up drivel isn't it? I realised a long time ago that it was a pointless pursuit.

I was making a general point about the TRAGIC lengths being taken below to trawl posting history to prove what people's opinions were 6 months ago.

Willtell, I haven't been on this thread telling lies about it all though, have I? Making out you were bigging up Adrian and being caught out, you wally.

I still think Joe Hart has been a much better keeper than Adrian over the years, and will prove so again eventually. I still don't particularly rate Adrian, and want us to upgrade in the summer whatever way.

The question you should be asking is White Pony, why cunts like you and Eerie Descent rush to join in every time someone thinks they have scored points against an anonymous poster called Willtell....

White Pony 7:12 Fri Feb 2
Re: The transfer window thread
Why are posters so desperate to prove themselves right or wrong on here and Will go to untold lengths to try to prove it?

Seriously, who gives a flying one? When you're lying on your deathbed, in amongst thinking about all the stuff you wish you had got round to doing or saying, at least you will get a warm glow from knowing that in August 2017, you expressed a preference for Adrian over Hart.

I think the human race is screwed on this evidence.
